haole makahiki hou

haole makahiki hou [how-oh-lay ma-ka-he-key hoe]

yeah, thats hawaiian for 'happy new year'! to celebrate the day we had supper as a house group, played dominoes & uno. & did sparklers. welcome 2010. i had hoped that i'd see the great times square celebration live in hawaii at 7pm my time [midnight your time] and be able to watch it 'with' rach . . . but all that the tv had on was infomercials, so that plan did not work out.

anyway, i had a stellar day at work today. why? well, i had deeper conversations w/ my coworkers, did a great tour, had a person come back to the visitors center to thank me for the great day i recommened for him to go out and see, and got to 'rove' where i just hang out outside at the crater, answer questions, talk to random people, and enjoy the sun.

PTL. thanks, Lord. 60 days to go . . .

Got caught up a few days ago on all your Dec. posts. I missed so much!
Resolving to keep with it/you.
Rejoicing with you for that kind of day, and yeah!!!! just 60 more days. Just think....you're missing a few more snow falls, some ice, cleaning off car windows.
Neal....Blessing all around!
Love you.
